Amsterdam, Sunday the 28th of November 2004, 13:50 p.m.

The captain announces we are about to land at Amsterdam Schiphol soon, the temperature outside is about 10 degrees above zero, it's raining...and not just outside. Only 24 hours ago I left Rio and South America....at least for a while. My legs are shaking, my hands are trembling..it's so exciting to see everyone back home again and at the same time so sad my trip has ended. So this is it...the big moment!! It almost seems like yesterday I was here. It all seems so familiar and so strange at the same time. And there they are....my family and friends...it's amazing to see them again!! After a great dinner and night out we all go home and my parents take me to their place for the first night in my own bed again....sweet dreams.......!!!

To all the people I was fortunate enough to meet and get to know during my trip....I cannot describe wat this trip and meeting all of you has meant to me. It has been an amazing, interesting, valuable, fun, beautiful and definately unforgettable experience for me and I want to thank you for your great company...it definately would not have been the same without you guys:-) I miss you and remember you with a big smile on my face! Don't forget to keep me posted and to contact me if you're anywhere near my small but funny little country. I really hope we'll meet eachother again somewhere down the road:-)!!
